Vegan Baked Oats – 2 Ways  ( Tik Tok Viral Recipe)

These vegan baked oats make you feel like you’re eating cake for breakfast, but in reality, you’re eating a pretty nutrient-rich breakfast made from rolled oats, and banana. If you’re looking for a sweet breakfast treat that’s healthy and delicious, baked oats are here for you. These TikTok Baked Oats are just like eating cake for breakfast. So easy to make with just a handful of healthy ingredients – and I’m giving you 2  flavor variations we love!

I love rolled oats for breakfast or to make healthy dessert for my family. Here is one of my recipe that use rolled oats as well Vegan Healthy Cookies Recipe.

Can I microwave baked oats?

Yes, if you don’t have an oven, you can microwave your oats for 2-3 minutes, or until it puffs up and looks baked through. The texture will be denser as it cools, so enjoy it right away!

What kind of oats do I need for vegan baked oats?

The best oats to use are rolled oats, also known as old-fashioned oats, or quick oats.

BAKED OATS VS BAKED OATMEAL

TikTok Baked Oats are typically made with rolled oats, banana, eggs, milk, and sugar that you blend in a high-speed blender. Whereas baked oatmeal does not require a blender or bananas.

INGREDIENTS

As per the usual with my recipes, you only need a few simple ingredients to make blended oats! Here’s what you need:

  • Oats: It doesn’t matter if you use quick oats or rolled oats. Since they are getting blended, you can use either.
  • Banana: Use ripe banana! If you don’t want to use a banana, replace it with ¼ cup to ½ cup of your favorite milk.
  • Maple syrup: You can replace the maple syrup with coconut sugar or honey. If you want to use sugar in place of the maple syrup, add 1-2 tablespoons of milk to the ingredients to make up for the liquid.
  • Almond Butter: To add more protein to your cake!  I love the flavor and nutrition that almond butter adds, but you don’t have to add it! Feel free to swap for your favorite nut or seed butter or skip all together.
  • Pistachio, Almond, Walnut: The best for topping!
  • Baking powder
  • Salt
  • Dark chocolate chips: You can use dark or semi chocolate chips. I like these chocolate chips
  • Vegan or egg-free – I found that this baked oatmeal held together well with and without the egg.
  • Chia seeds : Chia seeds contain large amounts of fiber and omega-3 fatty acids, plenty of high-quality protein, and several essential minerals and antioxidants. They may improve digestive health, blood levels of heart-healthy omega-3s, and risk factors for heart disease and diabetes.

How to Make Blender Vegan Baked Oats

It’s SO easy!

  1. Blend – Blend all of the ingredients together except the chocolate chips. Add the chocolate chips on the top.
  2. Bake – Pour batter into a greased ramekin and bake at 350ºF for 20- 22 minutes and enjoy!
